It’s July and things are certainly heating up. It’s not just the temperatures we’re talking about. There are plenty of going ons this summer in and around Wake Forest. The Triangle area always offers a number of fun, cool activities for people of all ages which is always a much-needed necessity during these hot summer months.
Two more Saturdays this summer are Family Movie Nights taking place at Joyner Park. The next one is set for July 29 and the other is August 12. The event is free, and the movie starts at 8:30 p.m. Though it is probably a good idea to arrive early if possible to get a spot before the crowds fill in. To learn more about this event, click here. Earlier in the day on Saturday, make your way to the Wake Forest Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 12 noon located at Renaissance Place, 405 S. Brooks St. for produce, eggs, meat, baked goods, flowers and more. While you’re there, enjoy live music and activities for kids. It’s a great event for the whole family to enjoy.
“Concerts in the Park” is happening soon in Wake Forest. These are free concerts held at E. Carroll Joyner Park being held Sunday, Aug. 6, and Sunday, Sept. 3.
