Holiday Shopping in the Triangle

The Triangle area is home to multiple shopping destinations. There are so many choices out there, which really comes in handy during this time of the year. It’s a busy time with the holidays and people are out and about tackling their gift list. Things are coming down to the wire now and there isn’t much time left to get that perfect gift, but don’t fret. Whether you’re looking for electronics, reading material, clothing, jewelry, toys, or all of them, there are plenty of places to go nearby so you can be sure and mark a line through items on your shopping list. So grab your purse or wallet, the keys to your car and make your way out to find just the right gift for the right person.

Located off Capital Boulevard in Raleigh right by I-540 is Triangle Town Center mall. In addition to the mall, there are also a number of other stores in the surrounding vicinity. Off Glenwood Avenue by the 440 beltline is Crabtree Valley Mall. There is also The Streets at Southpoint located in Durham off Interstate 40. All three of these shopping malls feature larger department stores, along with a number of other retailers.

If you’re getting hungry and/or need to take a little break from all the walking, there is also a variety of restaurants and dining options at each of these malls. So why not make it a full day of shopping. Do some shopping, stop and eat for lunch, and pick back up where you left off and finish with even more shopping.

Of course, there isn’t much time left for holiday shopping, but the malls are just as busy after as people may have to return gifts, exchange them for something else or need a different size if it’s a clothing item. Also, gift cards are very popular these days so those will most likely be taken advantage of and put to good use.
